Holo Family is a web-based family tree maker for recording relatives, relationships, photos, and family stories in one interactive chart that relatives can view together. It is one of the eight products in the HoloCare portfolio and is used on its own.

The order matters more than the tool. Start where your knowledge is most reliable and work outward, rather than starting from the oldest ancestor you have heard of.

Trees sync across phone, tablet, and desktop through the account they belong to, so a tree started on a phone during a family visit can be finished on a larger screen.

Holo Family includes AI photo restoration that repairs fading, removes scratches, colourises black-and-white photographs, and increases resolution, and it suggests a likely time period for the photo with a confidence level attached. A group photo can also be imported, with each detected face assigned to the right person in the tree. Photo restoration is a Pro feature.
No. Holo Family is a tree builder, not a records or DNA service. It does not search census, birth, immigration, or other historical archives, it does not offer DNA testing or matching, and it does not suggest relatives automatically. Every person in a Holo Family tree is one you add, from your own research and from what your relatives tell you.
Yes. Holo Family exports a print-ready PDF and a high-resolution PNG, which covers reunion posters, framed gifts, and school assignments. PDF and PNG export are Pro features; the free plan exports GEDCOM and JSON.
